February 21st, SBSI held a First Aid workshop at Kizuna festival 2020.
About 60 school kids and university students came to learn. (We appreciated CAMSAFE for helping with equipment, Social Compass for the fan CPR video, Mr. Yakumo from GRAPHIS for arranging “CPR music”.)
We also tried CPR training with empty pet bottles which we learned from FAST AID in Tokyo!
The National Kossamak Hospital received a wonderful life saving gift(Defibrillator) from a Japanese Students’ group “GRAPHIS” through SBSI on Christmas Eve.
The machine will be used at ER. The ER staff also received instruction from MRS staff.
December 17th; SBSI held a first aid workshop for 100 young volunteers at Cambodia Red Cross(CRC) head-quarter in Phnom Penh with the cooperation of CRC and CAMSAFE (NGO), .
All the volunteers are high school students from Phnom Penh area, who sincerely want to learn how to save lives of fellow Cambodians.
The teachers were Japanese and Cambodian experts from Japan, CAMSAFE and SBSI. Since CRC has many volunteers all over the country, SBSI would like to cooperate with their training of young people to save lives.
On October 31st, 40 medical beds and other equipment donated and shipped by SBSI arrived at Calmette Hospital.
October 28th, Koji Sasaki, President of SBSI, had a meeting with Deputy commissioner General, H. E. Poo. Gen. Him Yan and Director and deputy director of the Traffic and Public Order Department.
